the future of electric mobility
Another brand that points to the future of electric mobility. In this case it is Keeway who presents the E-Zi , a nice model that will reach the market with two approvals: moped and A1.
This is Keeway's proposal for sustainable urban mobility . It is a scooter that looks very nice, minimalist structure and a small size - only 1,230 mm between axles.
It is characterized, among other elements of equipment, for having a very accessible two-seater seat (760 mm from the ground), flat platform, a fully digital instrument cluster, open glove compartment, cruise control, alarm, remote control, full lights led and a specific mobile app from which you can consult and manage a multitude of parameters.
Like many scooters of this style, the E-Zi's engine is located in the rear wheel hub . It is a Bosch motor that will be supplied with two powers, 800 W (moped approval) and 1200 W (A1 approval).
The total weight of the scooter is around 65 kilos in both versions, and the one equipped with the most powerful engine fits 12 ”wheels instead of the 10 that the E-Zi 800W rides. To stop those 65 kilos it has a 180mm front disc, with single piston caliper, and a 110mm single drum rear; According to Keeway, at 25 km / h the E-Zi stops in just 2.5 meters.
As for the autonomy, in the 800 W version, 145 km are announced at an average speed of 25 km / h and 90 km at 45 km / h , while the one equipped with the 1200 W motor would remain in the 120 km at 25 km / h and 70 km if the average speed is 50 km / h.
Obviously, the accelerations of the latter are better and that is what makes their autonomy less.
At the moment there is no more data on the E-Zi, nor has Keeway announced whether it will be a model that will arrive in Europe or if it will only be destined for the Chinese internal market. In any case it is a clear indication that the firm is already working on electric mobility, and it seems that at a good pace.
